Coming to Stodola Club, you're often not aware of some rules and regulations of the Club. So the most important things are explained here:
Coming to the concert...
When all of the tickets to a concert are sold out - getting people inside the club usually takes about 1.5 hours. That's why on the posters we usually don't mention the exact time of the star's performance because that's partly up to audience's entry. We also have a strict safety policy. We often hear from you that you feel like "terrorists" or like you are "at the airport". We want to assure you that your safety is our priority and the small inconveniences shouldn't influence your mood or having fun. Stodola is the safest club in Warsaw and we want to keep it that way!
No going out for a moment...
It happens that after getting into the Club you want to "go out for a minute". Sometimes it's to buy alcohol and sometimes to get some money or just to get something done and then return to the club. Unfortunately, we don't allow it. There are no complicated rules or reasons for that. We just have no guarantee that the person going out will not give his or her ticket to somebody else. Besides, letting people out and in again "for a moment" extends the time of letting all of the guests in.
Documents...
Every person who comes to the Stodola Club has to have a valid Photo ID with them (students must have their Student ID). A lot of you forget the IDs and when you want to get a student discount or we want to check if you are of age, there is a problem. The most common argument we hear is: "who takes an ID to a party?!". Well, when going to Stodola - everybody does. Especially if something bad happens (knock on wood), the police or other emergency personnel need to have the capability to identify the Club's
Alcohol...
Only adults (over 18) are allowed to go into the Club. According to the law, only people over 18 can purchase alcohol. Sometimes though a person under-age gets into the Club and tries to get an adult to buy beer or other alcohol for him. Do not do it! Not only is it against the law but it endangers a young person's health, and the Club may loose its concession licence.
Jackets/Coats, drinks and cigarettes in the main room...
You're not allowed to bring drinks, coats and are forbidden from smoking cigarettes in the main room during the standing (rather dancing) events. Again, this is for safety reasons (and the jackets are about the lack of air conditioning). The main hall is often crowded. A person who drinks in the main hall may unintentionally spill their beverage on someone. The problem with lit cigarettes is even more dangerous and painful; someone could easily be burned. In addition, local fire safety codes state that every public space must have areas free from smoking. It's very easy to start a fire in places where there are a lot of electrical installations, cables and lots of people.
The Restrooms...
The restrooms are not visible from every location in the club. You often have to ask the Club's employees about them. Well, they're located near the stairs leading to the upper bar (when facing the stairs, the bathrooms are on the left). There was a renovation of the bathrooms in the summer (there are more stalls in the ladies' room and new urinals in men's room). The problem of the line to the bathroom during the concerts is generally solved.
