Just before the Black Label Society concert in Stodola Olga Tuszewska had a chance to talk to Zakk Wylde. And here's what he told her:

- It’s not your first visit in Poland , is it?

- Zakk Wylde - No, but it’s been a while. Probably the last time I was here was with Ozzy. So some time ago.

- But it’s your first time in Stodola.

- ZW -Yes. But for me it’s like - they just tell me where I got to play and I just play. I usually know nothing about the venues. You know, I didn’t even had a chance to look around. All I do on tour is giving interviews and flying. And right before interviews and in between interviews I’m just lying down taking a nap. You know what I mean, I gotta sleep when I can.
So I haven’t seen anything really. I flew in today from London. We did Bolonia the other day in Italy and I had to fly to London to an awards show and the band drove all the way here and I flew here to Poland just today to give the show. And then we’ll spend 36 hours in a bus to get to another show. So you know, it’s crazy.
Which doesn’t mean we have no time to party…

- Are we going to hear the whole BLS new album “Mafia” tonight?

- ZK -Today we’ll play lots of songs from the new record but also from the previous ones. We’ll play bunch of different sh*t. It’s a 2,5 hour show. There’s melodic stuff, there’s hard stuff…
The show will be very… sexy. (Zakk’s laughing and playing a crazy solo on his guitar) It’s all for the ladies anyway.

- The BLS guitarist agrees : It’s always about the ladies

- Do you know any Polish bands?

- ZW - No, but I don’t listen to a lot of music. With the new stuff I like Velvet Revolver, Audioslave…. And that’s about it.

- It’s a common fact that musicians don’t listen to music…

ZW- We play music all the time so we try not listen to it. Especially hard music. But, you know,what do we got? Coldplay is really good. They’re awesome.

- The BLS guitarist: Yeah, Coldplay’s great!

- ZW - We still listen to the music we listened to growing up like…

- The guitarist: Stones…

- ZW -The Stones, Elton John…

- Elton John?!!

- ZW - Yes, he’s cool.

Tim, BLS manager comes in to say the show starts in 10 minutes, so…

- Thank you so much. It was very nice to meet you.

- ZW - No problem. See ya…

Later the band started a disscussion about Michael Jackson acquittal. It turns out that they had bets and most of the BLS, including Zakk, lost. They didn't manage to settle the dispute. The concert began.
