On October 22 at NOSPR in Katowice, Swiss composer, harp virtuoso, and one of the world’s most renowned instrumentalists, Andreas Vollenweider, will take the stage. The artist will visit Poland as part of his CAVERNA MAGICA - REVISITED 2025 tour, once again bringing his legendary music from four decades to the audience!

For over 40 years, Andreas Vollenweider’s music has held special meaning for millions of people around the globe: as a source of hope and motivation, but also as a way to retreat into a personal “CAVERNA MAGICA” to recharge and find renewed strength and confidence.

Even if these are undoubtedly big statements, the question of whether music can actually have such an effect is more than clearly confirmed by the global success story of Vollenweider's music. Even today, people still travel in large numbers from all corners of the globe to the Vollenweider concerts.

But they are not gathering just for entertainment; they are also seeking to share a certain positive collective experience that would strengthen the precious flame of hope in these difficult times. Evidence of this effect is documented by the many thousands of responses from people in severe personal crises, from war zones, after natural disasters, from maternity clinics and hospices for the dying...

Even for himself, music has been a survival strategy since early childhood, and it seems that this effect is also transferred through his music to those who are also in need of such support. In South Africa’s Black community, his music is even regarded as “Anthems of Liberation” from the years of Apartheid in the early 1980s to the present day. Andreas' humanistic view is also reflected in his philanthropic activities. He is also a board member and activist for ROKPA International, a Switzerland-based charity organisation.

Several of Vollenweider's albums were simultaneously at number one on various Billboard charts for many weeks. This remarkable success led the music industry to recognize the potential of instrumental music, and a new genre emerged.
