With her unique, powerful and luminous voice, Imany has been making her mark for over 10 years with stage performances of rare intensity, combining profound lyrics and vibrant energy that transcend musical boundaries.

After captivating the world with Voodoo Cello — a unique project in which her voice intertwines with the harmonies of eight cellos, resulting in a tour of more than 100 dates across Europe and beyond — Imany returns with a highly anticipated new album: Women Deserve Rage, available on 24 October 2025, which she will present on stage around the world.

This album is a powerful work that resonates like a manifesto of emancipation and rebirth. Born out of a vital need to reclaim her truth, it carries the voice of a woman who chooses to be reborn free. Women Deserve Rage is a slice of life of a woman who, finally, not only embraces the anger within her, but also claims this right in a society that constantly seeks to control and silence women.

Imany is a voice you recognize instantly — deep, radiant, and filled with truth. Of Comorian descent, she has, over the years, established herself as one of the most distinctive voices on the French and international music scenes, blending soul, folk, and pop with rare intensity.Her name, meaning “faith” in Swahili, already tells a story: that of a free woman who, after a brief stint as a model in New York, returned to Paris to write, compose, and sing — gradually making stages resonate with her quiet strength. From her debut album in 2011, “The Shape of a Broken Heart” — which went platinum internationally — Imany struck a chord with a wide audience, with songs like “You Will Never Know”.

She confirmed her global appeal with the album “The Wrong Kind of War” (2016), certified platinum in France and double platinum abroad. In parallel, she experienced worldwide success with the single “Don’t Be So Shy” (Filatov & Karas remix), which was certified diamond in France and eight times diamond internationally, racking up hundreds of millions of streams worldwide.

In 2021, she unveiled “Voodoo Cello”, a bold project where her voice intertwines with the harmonies of eight cellos. Revisiting pop classics — from Radiohead to Madonna — she offered intense, haunting reinterpretations. This unique dialogue between strings and voice led to a world tour of over 100 dates.

After releasing « I Am Who I Am » and « Mad » Imany returns with a fiery new single « When it Comes ». These new singles are the first spark of a highly anticipated album - “Women Deserve Rage” set to be released on October 24th. — an intimate yet universal project, born from a vital need: to reclaim her truth, and be reborn free.
