Due to the overwhelming interest in tickets for Joe Satriani's concert in Warsaw (6th July), the gig has been moved from Stodola to the amphitheatre in Sowinski's Park! In connection with the above, another set of tickets has been put on sale - available at www.go-ahead.pl, www.ebilet.pl, www.eventim.pl, and www.ticketpro.pl!

Satriani is a real guitar virtuoso, considered one of the most important musicians playing this instrument in the history of rock music. He became a true legend in 1987, when he published his crucial album "Surfing With The Alien". He is a teacher of such important guitarists like Kirk Hammet or Steve Vai, regarded by some as the real and only successor of Jimi Hendrix. In the 1980s he cooperated, among others, with Mick Jagger and Deep Purple.

Satriani was also the originator of the famous G3 concert cycle, within which he has been playing gigs with the most important modern guitarists - Steve Vai, John Petrucci, Yngwie Malmsteen, Eric Johnson.

Together with Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony (Van Halen) and Chad Smith (RHCP), in 2009 Satriani founded a project called Chickenfoot and their first album turned out to be a great success. In 2011 the second Chickenfoot album was released, titled "III".
On September 22, 2012 Satriani was one of the most important guests during the concert dedicated to the late Jim Marshall, which took place on Wembley Arena. Other artists that played there were Zakk Wylde, Yngwie Malmsteeen, Doug Aldrich, Mike Portnoy, and Kerry King.

Satriani's newest album "Unstoppable Momentum" is due to be released by Sony, on May 7, 2013. His visit in Sowiński's Park will be a part of the promotion of this record.
