The blues legend is coming back to Poland! John Mayall, the British musician, who recorded over 50 albums, will give two shows in Warsaw and Poznan.
For many John Mayall is seen as a father of white blues. Mayall is a complete musician: he sings, plays on the guitar, piano, organs and harmonica.
His career started in 1963, when he was spotted, just as Mick Jagger or Keith Richards, by Alexis Korner. Under his influence he moved to London and founded the band John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers. Many outstanding musicians cooperated with Mayall as a part of this project, including Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce (before the establishment of Cream), 18 year old Mick Taylor (later he substituted for Brian Jones in The Rolling Stones), or Mick Fleetwood.
At the end of 60., when most of blues bands in Great Britain started playing rock and roll music, John Mayall moved to USA, where blues is coming from. He continued his musical cooperation with, among the others, Larry Taylor and the guitarist Harvey Mandel (Canned Heat).
This year the artist was introduced into elite Blues Hall Of Fame.
The forerunner of the rock music, appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the Honours List, reveals in the interviews, that he never prepares a setlist before the show – he gives a different concert every night. Thanks to this, his concerts provide an unforgettable experience.
