The band’s history officially started in 2001 in Skarżysko-Kamienna, but the musicians’ cooperation had begun earlier than that. In 2002 they established the name and the logo of the band, they also recorded the material for their first Demo. Since then, happysad have published one live album, available also on DVD, and five CDs recorded in the studio. Their first record, Wszystko jedno, has been put on the list of 50 most important albums in the history of Polish rock music. The song promoting this CD, Zanim pójdę, has stayed on the top lists for many weeks. Each of the band’s albums has gone like cakes and the last two of them have become Golden right after going on market. Their music is regressive rock, complemented with characteristic lyrics. The band have already played a few hundred gigs around the country, always gathering a big crowd of fans.
