Mela Koteluk live at Stodola!

Publication date: 17 May 2013
A rising star of the Polish music industry will play at Stodoła for the first time on November 10th.

A singer and a songwriter, Mela Koteluk, will perform on Stodoła’s stage!
Everybody has been talking about her over the past year. She is a winner of the 2013 FRYDERYK awards in the category of Artist of the Year and Debut of the Year, along with Nagroda Artystyczna Miasta Torunia im. Grzegorza Ciechowskiego 2012 and Gazeta Wyborcza's Ale Sztuka award. Her first album Spadochron, released in May 2012, was named one of the best debuts of the year. Songs promoting the album, Melodia ulotna and Wolna, stayed in the radio top charts for weeks. Mela’s music falls of the pigeonholes, it’s poetic, yet obstreperous, both lyrical and rock style. Twelve author compositions from the boarders of pop and alternative, roguishly winking at electronic convention, together with the magical lyrics Mela wrote, brings a fresh breeze to the Polish music market. During her Autumn 2012 tour, Mela gathered enough fans to fulfil the venues, every time receiving only positive feedback.
At the beginning of 2013, Mela Koteluk recorded a song with Czesław Mozil, Pieśń o szczęściu, which promoted the film Baczyński. She is also the initiator of the campaign for live music Nie bądź dźwiękoszczelny. You’ll be able to listen to her performing live at Stodoła on November 10th!
